Our Story
MSV Laboratories Private Limited (MSVLPL) was incorporated in 1991 under the Companies Act by our Founder & Director, Sri Asok Maiti, alongside Managing Director, Smt. Alpana Maiti. For over three decades, we have provided essential business services to facilitate the accelerated commercialization of organic and biotechnology-based products.
As the first Agricultural Biotech company in West Bengal, we are at the forefront of agricultural innovation. Our commitment to excellence is backed by official recognition from the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) (Reg. No. TU/IV-RD/3022). We operate the state’s first private Biotechnology R&D Research Center, which was inaugurated on March 24, 2008, by the Minister-in-Charge of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal.
More than three decades, our expertise spans technology development, project consultancy, and specialized manpower training and placement. Throughout our history, we have proudly collaborated with a diverse network of scientists, technologists, research institutions, universities, central and state government ministries, and financial institutions to drive sustainable progress in the sector.

Well established and well equipped hi-tech R&D Laboratories for the culture of bacteria and fungus.
• Networking: MSVLPL networks closely with all stakeholders viz. farmers, academia, government etc. and provides a platform for interaction on cross- sectoral topics. These linkages also facilitate collection of latest authentic information for professional execution of various assignments. Production of Popular brand KIRAN® organic fertilizer with existing production capacity 9000 MT and production of popular brand CARBO® and BIO-DAP® Bio-fertilizer with existing production capacity 6000 MT.
• Finance management skills: MSVLPL has adequate skills and expertise in ensuring compliance with financial and accounting norms in project management. The company has well defined administrative procedures to manage funds as per the guidelines provided by the sponsors. Generating self-employment for rural unemployed through “KIRAN KARMASANCHAR PRAKALPA”. More than 500 peoples are earning more than Rs. 50,000/- per annum by decomposing cow dung which is carrier of our bio-fertilizer.
